Einar Steen-Nøkleberg has performed the entire repertoire for violin and piano, including all sonatas by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Schumann and Grieg, with numerous recordings (i.e. Franck, Janacek, Enescu, Grieg and Busoni Sonatas). He has also performed the entire repertoire for cello and piano with many recordings(i.e. all Beethoven Sonatas and Variations, Brahms 2 Sonatas, Mendelsohn Sonatas and Variations, Rachmaninov, Pfitzner, Grieg, Britten, Martinu and Barber Sonatas). As an accompanist for singers, Einar Steen-Nøkleberg has performed all major cycles for male and female voices. |
